Curio Professional 13 for Mac latest features
1. Dark Mode Support
By very popular request, Curio supports macOS Mojave’s super cool dark mode!
Curio’s window insets, toolbars, inspectors, shelves, managers and other interface elements will now dynamically change based on the system’s Dark Mode settings.
Your idea space content will continue to follow the colors and styles you specify for your idea spaces and figures.
On a related note, in addition to dark mode support, Curio 13 has many other interface enhancements, including collapsible inspector stand panels.
2. Layers
Create and manage separate graphic layers that can be rearranged, hidden or deleted without affecting other layers. This allows a more organized approach to conceptualizing spatial graphics. For example…
You are a gardener using Curio to plan a client’s new backyard. You can create layers ” Site Plan “, ” Evergreens “, ” Deciduous Trees “, ” Bushes ” and ” Perennials ” from the templates in your personal library. ” and ” Perennials”, each layer is filled with numbers.
3. Cross Reference
This incredibly powerful feature allows graphics and creative spaces to support multiple types of cross-references to other graphics, creative spaces and even site locations to encourage more accurate and organized research.
Use built-in types (such as Source or Rebuttal) or create and use custom types (such as Persona and Scene).
Easily jump back and forth between references and citations with citation decoration or right-click context menus.
With a single click, you can immediately jump to a graphical reference that agrees or disagrees with its parameters, or view all items that use a specific graph as a source reference. You can also use the “Search” toolbar to find all figures that contain any reference, or to find only data with a specific reference type, such as “agree”.
4. Formula Editing
You can now use Curio to create and edit equations!
Create and edit equations using LaTeX, AsciiMath or MathML syntax. When typing an equation, a preview is immediately presented. The final equation is then immediately and securely rendered in high-quality PDF format via Zengobi’s server and inserted into your idea space.
5、Focus Mode
Focus on a specific branch of a mind map or list, or perhaps a specific figure on a busy idea space, such as an album with a quick button or a text figure. All other figures on the idea space will immediately become transparent, allowing you to focus on the task at hand.
If the selected figure is the parent figure in a hierarchical collection (such as a list or mind map), any existing or new child nodes will also inherit the focus.
When finished, the same quick button will turn off focus mode and restore all content.
6. Price Drop Block Quotes and Code Blocks
Curio’s Price Drop feature now includes support for block quotes and code blocks!
7. New Album Arrangements
We have added two new album arrangements to the existing arrangement, as shown in the first image.
The second sample image demonstrates Curio’s new uncompressed column layout, and the last image shows our new row-based layout.
8. Completion Dates and Add Dates
Independent of the numeric deadline, you can now manually or automatically set a completion date for the number, marking the date the task was actually completed.
Figures also have an add date, which is set automatically by Curio when you add a figure to an idea space, but can be changed if you try to mark a specific date for note-taking or research purposes.
These new dates can be used to sort in lists, mind maps, and stacks, and can also be used as search criteria in the Search toolbar.
9. And more
– Faster access to graph templates via the new Insert > Templates menu.
– The “Status” ribbon gets a new sorting pop-up window, as well as several display improvements.
– The list now allows you to specify a starting number.
– Graph enhancements include support for independently locking content, position or both!
– More integrated Curiota support.
– Creative Space features a new dashed grid style.
– Within the creative space, you can now more easily insert spaces on the top left or left side.
